Holy Week 2024 – Parish Schedule

This year, Holy Week begins on Sunday, March 24 and ends on Thursday, March 31. Below is the schedule of the various events that will take place in the parish during this time.

Friday of the Fifth Week of Lent ("Friday of Sorrows")

• 12:30 PM – Via Matris Dolorosae. Journey of the Mother's Sorrows.

Palm Sunday of the Lord’s Passion

• 08:30 AM – Monastery of the Trinitarian Mothers. Blessing of palms and branches. Procession.
• 09:30 AM – Solemn Eucharist at the church.
• 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM, and 7:30 PM – Other Eucharists.

Holy Tuesday: Chrism Mass

• 12:00 PM – Mass at the Holy Cathedral Church.
  The 12:00 PM parish Mass is cancelled.

Celebration of Reconciliation

• Holy Wednesday, April 13:
  10:30 AM – 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

Holy Thursday – The Lord's Supper

• 11:00 AM – Celebration of Lauds.
• 7:00 PM – Celebration of the Lord’s Supper.
• 9:00 PM – Holy Hour.

Good Friday of the Lord’s Passion and Death

• 11:00 AM – Celebration of Lauds.
• 2:45 PM – Solemn Chant of the Ninth Hour.
• 3:00 PM – Start of the Divine Mercy Novena and Chaplet.
• 4:30 PM – Celebration of the Lord’s Passion.
• 6:45 PM – Procession with the image of Jesus "The Divine Captive."

Holy Saturday

• 10:00 AM – Celebration of Lauds.
• 9:30 PM – Solemn Easter Vigil.

Easter Sunday – The Resurrection of the Lord

• 12:00 PM – Solemn Eucharist.
